Apologetics is the defense of someone's faith. As believers in Christ we're called to give a defense to anyone who asks the reason for our hope yet do it with gentleness and respect. "but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect," (1 Peter 3:15, ESV). Before we ever defend our faith we must first honor Christ as holy in hearts. The start of apologetics is salvation through Christ. Without him there's no hope and nothing to defend. This blog's purpose is to answer tough questions, giving a defense for the hope that in me. I am praying that this can be a way for others to see truth and come to know Jesus for themselves.

You may have heard of a group called Hebrew Israelites. Their beliefs really brought about this question to me. Through various conversations with them, I've learned that they believe black Americans are the descendants of Jacob, the son of Isaac, and that God only loves them and only they can receive eternal life.
